Our Story
JM Home Services started in August 2024 when we decided to turn our work ethic and shared values into something of our own. I was 16 at the time and Mitch was 20, and we both wanted to build something that was based on effort, trust, and doing work the right way. We didn’t just see it as a way to make money, we saw it as a way to help homeowners feel better about their homes and to raise the standard of how service businesses treat clients.
We started the business because we noticed that many homeowners were getting rushed jobs, poor communication, and services that lacked care. That never aligned with how we believed work should be done. From day one, our mindset was to show up on time, work hard, and treat every home like it mattered, because it does. We wanted people to feel comfortable, respected, and proud of their space after we finished the job.
As young entrepreneurs, we took pride in building JM Home Services through consistency, reliability, and attention to detail. We focused on earning trust, not just completing tasks. Balancing school, work, and personal responsibilities while running the business taught us discipline and accountability early on. Over time, the business became more than just a small startup: it became something we genuinely care about and continue to grow with intention.
